Overview
After two public beta milestones on TestFlight, SimpleTrip 1.0.0 is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Everything the beta was built around comes along—day-by-day planning, places on the map, visit progress, budgets, the photo gallery, and export—together with steadier optional iCloud storage, an About page that shows exactly which version you have, and a faster way into today’s map from Siri.

What is included in 1.0.0
- 01App Store release
Free on the App Store
SimpleTrip 1.0.0 is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26.2 or later. No TestFlight invitation is needed.
- 02
iCloud storage that follows your Apple Account
When you turn on optional iCloud storage, the choice now travels with your Apple Account, so your other iPhone or iPad signed in to the same account uses the same private iCloud database.
- 03
Clearer storage switching
Switching between on-device and iCloud storage asks you to restart SimpleTrip before the change takes effect, and existing local data stays on the device.
- 04
Widgets keep up with iCloud changes
When changes arrive from iCloud, SimpleTrip refreshes the itinerary summary that widgets use.
- 05
Straight to today’s map
Opening today’s map from Siri or Shortcuts now focuses on the trip’s places for today, or on the whole trip when today isn’t one of its days.
- 06
A new About page
Me › About shows the app version and build number, with links to the privacy policy, support, and the support email address.

- AI remains next-phase work
- AI itinerary generation remains a next-phase direction and is not part of this release.
