CHANGELOG

First beta milestone

Beta milestone 0.01.
Meet SimpleTrip.

The first SimpleTrip beta connects the essential arc of a trip: organize each day before departure, keep the next step clear on the move, then revisit spending and photos afterward.

Our first step into the journey

SimpleTrip meets its first testers with a practical travel workflow built for the Apple ecosystem. This is an early testing build under active development, not a public App Store release.

What is included in 0.01

  1. Plan one day at a time

Create trips, dates, and places, organize and filter them by category, then view them in your chosen order or by distance so each day stays easy to understand.

  2. Move from a place to the way there

View places on the map, search or select a POI, and quickly add it to the trip. When it is time to leave, hand the selected place to Apple Maps for directions. The iPhone compact map has no inline text search; iPad, Mac, and the place picker provide text search.

  3. Keep the day moving

The main app shows places, visit status, and completion progress for the selected date. Existing Apple Watch, widget, and Siri entry points can surface next-stop information.

  4. Give each device a clear role

Adaptive iPhone, iPad, and Mac interfaces are joined by Apple Watch, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, and deep links for quick glances and direct entry points. Spotlight participates only after the user enables it.

  5. Keep the budget and the memories

Record categorized spending and review statistics, while keeping trip photos in a separate gallery. Export a full itinerary or a single day as PNG, PDF, or Markdown; current exports do not include photos.
