These Terms set out the rules for using the Simple Trip App and its official product website, including the practical limits of travel, map, device, and sharing features.

At a glance
Simple Trip helps organize and carry out travel plans; it is not an emergency, booking, safety, navigation, or professional advisory service.
You remain responsible for what you enter, save, export, share, and rely on while traveling.
Maps, iCloud, Siri, Spotlight, widgets, Apple Watch, notifications, and distribution depend on Apple systems and rules.
Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Shenzhen Jianjiezhiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning Simple Trip (the “App”) and the official Simple Trip product website that links to these Terms (the “Website”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website. If you use Simple Trip for an organization or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them. If you are not legally able to enter into this agreement on your own, you may use Simple Trip only with authorization and supervision from a parent, guardian, or other person legally responsible for you.
The Website is a read-only product introduction, not a web version of the App, and it does not provide access to your App data. Product illustrations and itinerary details on the Website are fictional examples unless expressly stated otherwise.
App license and Apple terms
If you obtain the App through the App Store, Apple’s then-current Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”) governs the App license unless a separate custom end-user license agreement is provided for the App, in which case that custom agreement governs. The agreement that governs your App license is referred to below as the “Applicable EULA.” These Terms add product-specific use rules and do not replace or conflict with the Applicable EULA or Apple’s usage rules. The App is licensed, not sold.
Your license rights are the rights provided by the Applicable EULA and Apple’s applicable usage rules. When exercising those rights, you agree to use the App only for lawful, non-commercial personal or internal organizational travel planning on Apple-branded products that you own or control, including access permitted through Family Sharing or other Apple usage rules where available. We reserve all rights not expressly granted by the Applicable EULA.
The agreement in these Terms is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the App and its content, subject to the separate responsibilities that Apple assumes under its own terms and applicable law.
Read Apple’s Standard EULAWhat Simple Trip provides
Simple Trip provides tools for organizing trips, days, places, notes, visit status, budgets, expenses, photos, and itinerary exports. Depending on your device, settings, permissions, build configuration, and service availability, the App may also work with maps, widgets, Apple Watch, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, deep links, notifications, and optional iCloud storage.
Features can differ by device, operating system, screen layout, region, language, permission state, and App version. For example, the App hands route and direction requests to Apple Maps rather than drawing turn-by-turn routes inside Simple Trip. Optional CloudKit storage is disabled by default and depends on configuration, iCloud sign-in, user choice, completion of any necessary local-data migration, network access, and Apple service availability. Spotlight indexing also requires an active user choice.
Website descriptions, previews, roadmaps, and references to planned features are informational only. They are not a promise that a feature—including remote AI itinerary generation—has been released, will be released, or will remain available in a particular form or at a particular time.
Travel decisions and safety
Simple Trip is an organizational aid. It is not an emergency service, tour operator, travel agent, ticketing or booking service, navigation provider, safety monitoring service, financial or accounting service, or source of legal, medical, immigration, weather, transport, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for checking official and current sources before acting, including addresses, opening hours, reservations, ticket requirements, prices, exchange rates, routes, journey times, accessibility, weather, transport schedules, entry rules, local laws, health guidance, and safety conditions. Place order, distance, walking-time estimates, next-stop suggestions, notifications, and completion indicators may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate.
Budget, expense, category, variance, progress, and other calculations are based on information you enter and are for personal organization only. Input errors, omissions, rounding, currency selection, and itinerary changes can affect results. Do not treat them as banking, payment, foreign-exchange, accounting, tax, investment, or other professional financial services or records.
Do not interact with the App while driving or in any situation where doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. Use appropriate judgment, remain aware of your surroundings, and contact local emergency services when necessary. Never rely on Simple Trip, a widget, Apple Watch, a notification, or Siri as the sole source of time-sensitive or safety-critical information.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in trip names, notes, places, budgets, expenses, photos, profile details, and other content that you create or choose to add to Simple Trip (“User Content”). You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of User Content and for having all rights and permissions needed to store, process, display, export, or share it.
You grant us only the limited rights reasonably necessary for the App to process User Content on your devices and through services that you choose to enable, such as a private CloudKit database or Apple system sharing. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to copies that remain in backups, synchronized storage, exports, recipients’ systems, or third-party services under their own retention rules.
- Do not add or share content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or that violates another person’s privacy, image, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights.
- Obtain consent before recording or sharing another person’s personal information, location, photograph, itinerary, or expenses.
- Avoid placing passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, medical records, or other unnecessarily sensitive information in free-text fields.
- Use only photos, names, logos, notes, and other materials that you are entitled to use.
Storage, synchronization, and backups
App data is stored locally by default using Apple platform storage. The local SwiftData store may use an Apple App Group container and may contain App data, including processed images, so that the main App and its extensions can work together. Separate limited snapshots support widgets and Apple Watch, and actions may be exchanged with Apple Watch through Apple system connectivity. You are responsible for maintaining suitable device and backup practices and for protecting access to your devices and Apple ID.
If optional CloudKit storage is available in your build, you deliberately enable it, and you confirm any necessary local-data migration, data may be stored in a private database associated with your iCloud account. Synchronization is provided through Apple services and may be delayed, interrupted, duplicated, conflicted, or unavailable. Turning CloudKit off does not necessarily erase data already synchronized, and deleting the App or local data may not remove copies held in backups or other locations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or corruption caused by device failure, insufficient storage, operating-system behavior, an unavailable Apple service, network conditions, account or credential problems, user error, unsupported software, third-party tools, or failure to maintain a suitable backup. Where the App offers an export, verify the resulting file before relying on it as a backup.
Apple and third-party services
Simple Trip may let you use or open Apple Maps, MapKit search, iCloud or CloudKit, Photos, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, widgets, Apple Watch, notifications, system share sheets, websites, telephone links, email, cloud drives, or other apps and services (collectively, “External Services”). External Services are operated by their respective providers and are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, permissions, availability, content, and fees.
You must comply with all terms that apply to your use of External Services, including Apple Media Services and Apple Maps terms and any network, carrier, destination-app, website, or cloud-storage rules. We do not control and do not endorse third-party content merely because Simple Trip links to, displays, or hands an action to an External Service.
System surfaces can display selected trip names, places, addresses, next-stop details, progress, or budget information. Choose permissions, widget privacy settings, Lock Screen configuration, and device access controls appropriate to your circumstances. Siri recognition, automation results, notifications, widget snapshots, and Apple Watch updates may be misunderstood, delayed, or stale; confirm important actions in the App or with an authoritative source.
Map results, place information, routes, distances, estimated times, website details, and other third-party information can change or contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, conduct, content, or data practices of External Services.
Exports and sharing
The App can generate itinerary exports in supported formats such as PNG, PDF, or Markdown and can pass them to the system share or save interface. Current itinerary exports are separate from the photo gallery and do not include trip photos. You choose the destination and recipients and are responsible for reviewing the export before saving or sharing it.
An exported file exists independently from data in Simple Trip. Editing or deleting an item in the App does not update or delete copies already saved to Files, Photos, a cloud drive, another app, a message, an email, or a recipient’s device. Exported content may reveal travel plans, addresses, notes, budgets, expenses, contact details, or other information that you selected, so share it only with appropriate recipients.
Acceptable use
You may use Simple Trip only in compliance with these Terms, applicable law, and applicable platform and third-party rules. Except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction, you must not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or Website, or make them available as a service to others.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code, defeat security or technical protections, or create derivative works from the App.
- Interfere with the App, Website, Apple services, another device or account, or any related network, or introduce malware or harmful code.
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, probe, or extract the Website, App content, map content, or service data in a manner not expressly authorized.
- Use Simple Trip to violate law, sanctions, export controls, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, contractual duties, or the safety or rights of another person.
- Misrepresent that we, Apple, or another provider sponsors, certifies, or guarantees your itinerary, content, business, or conduct.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices.
Ownership and feedback
The App, Website, software, design, visual system, documentation, text, branding, and other materials that we provide—excluding User Content and third-party materials—are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. “Simple Trip,” “SimpleTrip,” related marks, and the product’s visual identity may not be used without prior written permission except as allowed by law.
If you voluntarily send suggestions, ideas, or other feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use that feedback to develop and improve our products without compensation or attribution, provided that we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.
If a third party claims that the App or your authorized possession and use of it infringes intellectual property rights, we—not Apple—are responsible for investigating and addressing that claim, to the extent required by applicable law and Apple’s applicable distribution terms.
Availability, updates, and changes
We may maintain, update, redesign, add, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform changes, technical constraints, product development, or service availability. We do not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device or that the App or Website will operate without interruption or error.
Operating-system, device, signing, entitlement, iCloud, network, region, and Apple-service changes may affect compatibility. You are responsible for installing appropriate updates and maintaining supported hardware and software. We will not intentionally use an update to deprive you of mandatory consumer rights.
Support and warranty disclaimer
We are responsible for maintenance and support for the App as described by us or required by applicable law; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Simple Trip. Support may be offered through the contact details below, but we do not promise a particular response time or resolution unless applicable law requires otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App, Website, exports, content, and related features are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, fitness for a particular trip or purpose, accuracy, availability, merchantability, non-infringement, or data preservation. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For an App acquired through the App Store, any refund or warranty process provided by Apple remains subject to the Applicable EULA and Apple’s applicable policies. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App beyond the obligations stated in its own terms and applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither we nor our directors, employees, affiliates, licensors, or suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising from or relating to Simple Trip, External Services, exported files, or these Terms, even if advised that such loss may occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the App, Website, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid specifically for the App during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount of liability that applicable law requires. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In that case, the relevant exclusion or limitation applies only to the fullest extent permitted, and your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App or Website at any time. You may delete App content using available controls and remove the App through the system, but you remain responsible for separately deleting exports, synchronized copies, backups, and content shared with others.
Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you materially violate them. We may also restrict or discontinue access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risk, infringement, platform requirements, or discontinued operation. Termination of an App license obtained through the App Store is governed by the Applicable EULA. When your applicable rights end, you must stop using the App and destroy copies in your control, except where platform rules or applicable law permit continued access.
Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, third-party services, disclaimers, liability limitations, governing law, and dispute provisions—remain effective after termination.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the relationship between you and the operator of Simple Trip. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your habitual residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and we should attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through the contact details below. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to a court, regulator, or dispute-resolution body with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or protective relief from a competent authority.
Apple is not a party to these Terms. Apple may exercise and enforce its own rights under the Applicable EULA and other applicable Apple agreements according to their terms.
Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, law, security requirements, platform rules, or our operations. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the Last Updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changed terms apply. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, asset transfer, or change of operator, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Applicable EULA constitute the agreement governing your use of Simple Trip, except for additional terms that lawfully apply to a specific service or distribution channel. Headings are for convenience only. The Chinese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; if they differ, the version or interpretation required by applicable law controls.
